Terms of Service

2. Service Description

AEOprobe ("the Service") is a SaaS platform that audits web pages for AI Engine Optimization (AEO) readiness. The Service analyzes publicly accessible web pages across categories including structured data, content quality, AI bot accessibility, meta tags, and technical performance, and provides scores and recommendations to improve visibility in AI-powered search engines and answer engines.

3. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

4. Accounts and Subscriptions

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your account.

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as outlined on our pricing page. Prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes where required.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Estonian Law of Obligations Act (Võlaõigusseadus §56).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, send a clear statement to support@aeoprobe.com stating your wish to withdraw. We will process your refund within 14 days using the same payment method.

Early performance waiver: If you request that the Service begin immediately upon purchase (before the 14-day withdrawal period expires), you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. For ongoing subscriptions, the withdrawal right applies to the initial purchase; you may cancel future renewals at any time (see Section 7).

6. Use License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with your subscription plan. You agree not to:

  • Modify, copy, or reverse engineer any part of the Service;
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations;
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the integrity or security of our systems;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent;
  • Submit URLs you are not authorized to audit.

7. Cancellation and Termination

By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@aeoprobe.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until then.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms (e.g., abuse, unauthorized access, non-payment). We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your audit data will be retained for 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Refund Policy

In addition to the 14-day withdrawal right for EU/EEA consumers (Section 5):

  • If the Service is materially unavailable or defective for an extended period, you may request a pro-rata refund for the affected period.
  • Refund requests should be directed to support@aeoprobe.com.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days via the original payment method.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of J&L Serverid LTD and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Estonia and the European Union.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (e.g., URLs for auditing). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your submitted content solely for the purpose of performing the audits you request.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, J&L Serverid LTD, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Intentional misconduct or gross negligence (Võlaõigusseadus §106);
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded under Estonian or EU law.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer

AEO audit results are informational recommendations, not guarantees. We do not guarantee that implementing our recommendations will result in specific rankings, traffic, or visibility in any AI engine or search engine. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harju County, Estonia.

EU consumer protection: If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence under Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), Article 6. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Online Dispute Resolution

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
